Kyle MacNeill

– writer

[blurb]

Kyle's spent the last decade exploring the unexcavated corners of pop culture for the likes of The Guardian, New York Times, VICE, THE FACE, Vogue, Wall Street Journal, Sunday Times Style, The Independent, Time Out, Dazed, GQ, Wallpaper, BBC, Huck, The Fence, Mixmag and NME.

He's really curious about niche communities, the material history of objects, obsolete technologies, aesthetic trends and strange phenomena. And he's keen to approach lofty topics with a funny, conversational tone and impish wordplay.

As well as journalism, Kyle manages social media for More or Less magazine and has previously supported FENDI, THE FACE and Beat.

He's also written copy for the likes of Mulberry and Viron. Currently, he's the copywriter for Kibbo Kift Agency, a communications collective solely working with sustainable and conscious brands.

He lives in Manchester's exposed brick paradise Northern Quarter, where he plays piano, hops between old-school pubs and gazes idly in art galleries.
